Looking to build your own spindles/uprights using a bolt-on spindle snout? Our TT spindle snout block is CNC machined in-house from aircraft quality 4130 chromoly thatâ€™s 5/8? thick. Itâ€™s 5? x 7.25? and uses the industry standard Dana 44 bolt pattern that we have doubled up (12 on 4?). The bolt holes are 3/8-24 and we recommend using mil-spec/NAS MS21250 series 12pt bolts to attach the spindle snout with. IMPORTANT: The spindle bore is machined undersized and will need to be final machined to 3.375â€ for a slight press fit after welding and/or heat-treatment. These are thicker and taller than our standard square block. Weâ€™ve also pocketed these to reduce weight without compromising strength. We machine all sides and the top & bottom surfaces, so everything is parallel and on the same plane. Nothing is laser or waterjet cut like cheaper versions. We use these on all our Camburg built KINETIK race trucks.
